TrellisWare Technologies, a privately held San Diego communications technology company, has signed a nine-year lease for 72.3k sf of office space at Summit Pointe in San Diego. The transaction is worth approximately $21 mil, which would average out to somewhere around $2.70/sf/mo.
Summit Pointe is situated on just under 21 acres at 10641 Scripps Summit Court, east of I-15 between Poway Rd and Scripps Poway Pkwy in the Scripps Ranch submarket. The property has undergone extensive improvements since being acquired in December 2016 for $31.3 mil by the current owner, Newport National Corporation. The 146.5k sf building was originally constructed in 2000.
David Crabb of Kidder Mathews, along with Don Mitchell of Cresa, represented TrellisWare Technologies in the transaction. TrellisWare is dedicated to improving and changing the design and performance of communications and signal processing systems, delivering the next generation of communications to military and commercial markets today.
