Latest Lease Renewal a Lucky Deal for Downtown LA Arts District


Lucky Brand, the popular American denim clothes company, has renewed its lease for 25k sf of industrial space in Downtown Los Angeles’ Arts District. The five-year renewal is valued at approximately $4 mil, or around $2.67/sf/mo.

The company has occupied the space in the freestanding, two-story industrial building at 1245 Factory Place since 2014 for its garment manufacturing operations. The location is in close proximity to Lucky Brand’s headquarters, a 50.6k sf space at 540 Santa Fe Ave, two blocks away.

Bart Pucci with Savills Studley represented the tenant in the transaction. Pucci also represented Lucky in identifying this opportunity and negotiating the build-to-suit of the creative office building approximately eight years ago. Lucky was one of the first major brands to commit to DTLA’s Arts District, helping to advance the area’s renaissance.
