Rincon Homes Pays $3.4 Mil for 14k sf Carlsbad Redevelopment Site

9/11/17

Rincon Homes paid $3.4 mil for a 14.2k sf Carlsbad Village site that currently houses a medical office property. The buyer intends to redevelop the site, at 725 Grand Ave, into a retail/residential mixed-use property.

Amy McNamara of Colliers International San Diego Region represented the buyer, out of San Clemente, and the Carlsbad-based seller, Patrick Smith LLC. Vic Gausepohl and Kirk Allison of Colliers International San Diego Region are the leasing brokers for the retail component of the new development.

“This property has been used for medical offices since the 1960’s and is fully entitled for mixed-use development. This is a great opportunity for a high-quality homebuilder like Rincon Homes to develop this parcel to its fullest potential by delivering needed housing in the Carlsbad Village,” said Amy McNamara, Vice President at Colliers International San Diego Region.
