In a recent Irvine industrial sale, a 44.8k sf facility traded for $7.2 mil, or $161/sf. The property, located at 17392 Daimler St, is near the 55 and 405 freeways. Situated on 1.88 acres, the building includes three ground-level loading doors and a dock-high truck well located at the rear of the property.
Avison Young Principals Alan Pekarcik and Dan Vittone, based in the company’s Orange County office, along with Sam Olmstead of Voit Real Estate Services (VRES), represented the seller, Costa Mesa-based Burke Daimler LLC. The buyer, repped by Doug Killian of VRES, was 17392 Daimler LLC, from Rolling Hills.
“In early 2014, the seller purchased the building, which was completely vacant following the departure of Fidelity National Title Insurance. Burke renovated the property and subsequently leased nearly half of the building to neighbor Stüssy Inc, an action sports clothier,” comments Pekarcik. “The buyer intends to occupy the balance of the building as Chandler’s Sand & Gravel.”
