Centerpoint Plaza, a 97.8k sf office building in Carlsbad was acquired by Madison Core Property Fund/New York Life. The property, located at 5901 Priestly Dr, west of El Camino Real and just south of Faraday Ave, was sold by Muller Centerpoint LLC.
Constructed in 2007, Centerpoint Plaza is a three-story, Class A office building located in the Carlsbad Research Center. The property features 396 underground and surface parking spaces, El Camino Real visibility, high-end exterior and interior finishes, onsite fitness center with locker and shower facilities, large outdoor veranda, high-speed data access, and lush landscaping.
Centerpoint Plaza is currently 93% leased. Notable tenants include Colliers International, Wells Fargo, GSA, AmericanWest Bank, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, Accountants Intl., WDM Group, and Thomson Reuters.
Mark McEwen, Gary Williams, Chris Williams, Rick Putnam, Bret Hardy, and Tom Abbott of Colliers International repped the seller in the deal. The buyer retained Gary Williams and Chris Williams to continue as the leasing brokers for Centerpoint Plaza.
