Having just undergone a $1 mil renovation program, Westlake Medical Center’s 30k sf of medical /dental space has already reached 80% leased. The two-story, steel-frame building, which features a Craftsman motif, is located at 32144 Agoura Rd, south of the 101 Fwy off of Lakeview Canyon Rd in Westlake Village.
According to the property’s owner, Westlake Medical Center LLC, Westlake Medical Center has been renovated inside and out. This includes landscaping, parking areas, the building’s roof, mechanical and electrical systems, common areas, restrooms, corridors, elevators, lighting and exterior paint.
Tony Principe, Darin Arrasmith, and Aaron Guerrero of Westcord Commercial Real Estate Services comprise the project’s marketing team. In addition to retaining the bulk of existing tenants with renewals on long-term leases, Westcord also signed Westlake Care Pharmacy, an established local business, to 1.5k sf of space off the ground floor lobby. The company relocated within the community.
The renovation work included all new interior doors, slate countertops in the restrooms and the addition of contemporary art in all of the common areas. Also, all exterior beams and accents have been redone to define the Craftsman look.
At present, four suites are currently available for immediate occupancy from 767 sf to 1.9k sf, along with a highly improved dental suite. Approximately 5k sf of total space remains available.
