San Francisco-based AMB Property Corporation, the big industrial owner/developer, completed leases totaling 687k sf of space at its SoCal distribution facilities during the first quarter of 2009.
The recent leasing activity includes:
• A 146k sf renewal at 6049 Slauson Ave in the City of Commerce by Ultra Pro, a leading manufacturer of consumer discretionary products sold into the world’s leading retailers
• A 127k sf renewal at at 4901 Alexander St in the City of Commerce d by Roland Corporation, a leading manufacturer and distributor of electronic musical instruments. Roy Longman and Gerald Porter of CresaPartners represented Roland Corporation in this transaction.
• A 115k sf renewal by Pixior at 5901 S. Eastern Avenue in the City of Commerce.
As of March 31, 2009, AMB’s portfolio in its Southern California market totaled 23.2 msf of operating and under-development facilities.
