Moonbug Entertainment agreed to a three-year lease for a 15k sf creative office space in Los Angeles. The firm will use the second-floor space, located at 110 S. Fairfax Ave, as the new U.S. headquarters for the global, London-based media company.
Moonbug creates and distributes inspiring and engaging stories to expand kids’ worlds and minds. This deal represents an expansion for Moonbug, who also has a location at 742 N Cahuenga Blvd in Los Angeles.
Moonbug’s new location is within North Market, a 30.7k sf office building built in 2003 that features modern space, high wood ceilings, exposed concrete floors and ample outdoor space. It is located adjacent to the Original Farmers Market and The Grove, which feature more than 100 retail, dining, and lifestyle amenities.
Ted Simpson and Myles Smith with Avison Young represented Moonbug Entertainment in the deal. The landlord, Gilmore Farmers Market LLC, was repped by CBRE. The company anticipates a move-in late 2021.
“Despite a slowdown in office leasing demand due to the pandemic, Los Angeles continues to see growth in the entertainment sector as exemplified by Moonbug Entertainment’s expansion,” said Simpson.
