Long-term tenant USC has renewed their lease and added 14.2k sf of space for a total of 87.9k sf of leased office space at The Alhambra, a reimagined 40-acre mixed-use urban community developed by The Ratkovich Company. The Alhambra is located at 1000 South Fremont Ave in the San Gabriel Valley city of Alhambra.
John Zanetos, Chris Penrose and Phillip Ruhl with CBRE represented The Alhambra in the deal. USC was repped by Rocky Binswanger and David Freitag, also with CBRE. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“As a result of Covid-19, tenants are placing a greater premium on providing a healthy workplace for their employees, and our campus offers the ideal environment. The low-density brick buildings supply excellent ventilation, opening onto extensive green space with meandering paths and outdoor areas for people to safely socialize. Other key attractions include high grade interior air filtration, and Bloom Energy fuel cells, which generate clean, reliable electricity on-site, with lower CO2 emissions than the local electrical grid, and virtually no particulate emissions that cause smog and respiratory diseases,” said Zanetos.
