Performance Machine signed a 75-month lease for 53.6k sf of industrial space at 16121 Carmenita Rd, south of Alondra Blvd and west of I-5 in Cerritos. The lease value was not disclosed.
The property features a two-story office area, two double exterior truck wells, five grade-level loading doors, 20- to 22-foot clear heights, 83 parking stalls, skylights, fenced yards, and convenient access to the 5 and 91 freeways.
Performance Machine is a leading premium manufacturer of motorcycle wheels, parts, brake systems, and other accessories. The space will serve as the company’s corporate headquarters and will also be used for manufacturing and distribution functions.
Blake Olson and Jonathan Larsen with Avison Young represented the tenant. The landlord, Rexford Industrial Realty Inc, was repped by Clyde Stauff and Stephen Calhoun of Colliers International.
“Performance Machine is relocating from its current nearby La Palma location with move-in anticipated to occur by year-end,” said Olson. “The company liked the space as it provides a central location for its employees; was recently renovated by the institutional ownership; and provides the ideal layout to further enhance its operational efficiencies.”
