A 102-room Good Night Inn in Whittier, CA has traded for $8.025 mil ($78.7k/room). The property is located at 10317 Whittier Blvd, on the east side of the I-605 Fwy and west of Norwalk Blvd.
The courtyard-style inn sits on a 72.9k sf parcel and includes monument signage visible from the freeway and a swimming pool. A number of retail amenities including a Starbucks, Carl’s Jr., Dollar Tree and Wingstop Restaurant are nearby.
Warren Berzack with Lee & Associates Multifamily Advisory Group represented the buyer, Y&C Pacific LLC, and the seller, Andy Investment Company, in the transaction. According to Berzack, the property had been owned by the seller for more than 30 years, and there was no franchise agreement in place, presenting a strong repositioning and rebranding opportunity for the buyer.
