The Los Angeles City Planning Commission unanimously approved a residential development proposed for 8150 Sunset Blvd by LA-based developers Townscape Partners. The project, situated at the entrance to the city’s popular Sunset Strip area, boasts an innovative design by Pritzker Prize-winning architect Frank Gehry.
The plan was approved as proposed, but with an additional 4% affordable housing, bringing the total of affordable housing at the site to 15% of the 249 units. The project is slated to include restaurant and retail space as well.
