Lincoln Property Company has acquired the Burbank Collection, a campus of three office buildings totaling 327k sf of space and encompassing nearly a full city block in the heart of Burbank’s downtown area. The Class A property was sold by Kennedy Wilson.
Lincoln plans to transform the three-acre site into a cohesive, walkable campus that takes advantage of the existing open space on the property and reflects the design of the Burbank Village district. An unfinished loading alley bisecting the site will be transformed into a central pedestrian walkway that will adjoin new outdoor decks and terraced dining areas. Public art and significant landscaping will be featured throughout the property, creating a pleasant environment for employees.
The Burbank Collection is located at 303 N. Glenoaks Blvd, 333 N. Glenoaks Blvd and 300 E. Magnolia Blvd, about four miles southeast of Bob Hope Airport, on the east side of I-5. It also includes two parking garages.
The Burbank Collection already houses leading companies in the entertainment and creative industries, including Cartoon Network and Nickelodeon. New and existing tenants will enjoy an abundance of amenities within walking distance, including the nearby Burbank Town Center, as well as an expansive collection of restaurants, retailers, entertainment, hotels and high-quality residential options nearby. Additional efforts to fully lease the property are underway, and the entire renovation is expected to be completed by early 2016.
Kevin Shannon of CBRE represented both parties in the transaction.
