In an LA-area industrial sales comp, Jobber’s Wholesale Inc has acquired a 23.4k sf building in Santa Fe Springs for $2.7 mil ($115/sf). Jobber’s Wholesale, a distributor of aftermarket auto parts and lubricants, plans to use the property for relocation and expansion.
The facility, located on a 51.8k sf site at 12078 Florence Ave, between Pioneer and Norwalk Blvds, is a former printing plant. The free-standing, concrete tilt-up structure features dock-high and ground-level loading. Approximately 15 people will be employed at the property when Jobber’s Wholesale takes occupancy this August, following tenant improvement work.
Matt Wagner with GM Properties represented Jobber’s Wholesale, which is relocating from Downey. The company has been in business for 25 years. Jeff Sanita and John McMillan of Cushman & Wakefield repped R. R. Donnelly, the seller.
“Availability of buildings in this size range – from 20k sf to 40k sf – is increasingly rare in the mid-counties submarket while demand remains strong,” Wagner noted.
