Owner/User Acquires 82k sf City of Industry Building

11/19/12

An 81.9k sf industrial property in the City of Industry was purchased for $6.4 mil ($78/sf) by Super DLK LLC, a manufacturing company that plans to occupy 50 percent of the property as its manufacturing headquarters. The building is located at 17915 Railroad St, east of Azusa Ave and just north of the 60 Fwy.

The buyer was repped by Norman Shiau of Nortco Inc. Michael Hartel and Mike Bouma of Voit represented the seller, Klein Investments Family Limited Partnership, a privately-owned real estate investment company.

During escrow, the current tenant, Darnell-Rose, agreed to a new lease for 30k sf within the building. This engineering and manufacturing company was occupying the space into which Super DLK, LLC will now move. Darnell-Rose will relocate to the remaining space in the building to manufacture its products, including casters, wheels, rubber bumpers, industrial truck couplers, and conveyor systems.
