Riverside County Retail Development Breaks Ground

5/27/21

Ground breaking has commenced on Boulder Crossing, a brand new shopping center located at the prime intersection of Winchester Road (Hwy 79) and Domenigoni Pkwy in Riverside County. The new development is entitled to include 166k sf of commercial/retail space featuring major anchor tenants and outparcel pad opportunities servicing south Riverside County.

Boulder Crossing is the major commercial development in the Conestoga Master Plan community and is surrounded by a tremendous amount of residential development coming online. There are currently over 2,000 homes built, under construction or planned adjacent to the west and over 18,000 homes planned in the immediate surrounding area.

Chad Iafrate and Andy Melzer with Cushman & Wakefield are leading the marketing efforts for the project. The team has already finalized deals at Boulder Crossing with McDonald’s, Starbucks and Chevron, with several other deals currently in negotiation.

“Boulder Crossing is a fantastic opportunity for outparcel pad users and small or big box tenants to add presence in a highly attractive new Class A center positioned at a heavily trafficked, signalized intersection (57,000 cars per day),” said Iafrate. “The location will serve the emerging community surrounding the center as well as the many nearby established cities such as Hemet, Murrieta and Menifee. Ideally located just 10 minutes from Interstate 215, the property also benefits from commuter traffic traveling to/from the Inland Empire, Los Angeles and northern San Diego markets.”
