Stirling Capital Investments will begin construction on a new 820k sf industrial facility at Southern California Logistics Centre (SCLC). The LEED designed facility will serve as a future warehouse and distribution hub for a multinational consumer products company, and is expected to generate 100 jobs at SCLC, a 2,500-acre commercial and industrial complex in Victorville.
The new facility will be located on a 43-acre site and will be fully occupied upon completion, currently anticipated in May 2022. Development costs for the project are estimated at around $63 mil.
Stirling will break ground on the new facility in May 2021. The structure is designed to achieve LEED certification through the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC). Key features include energy efficient design and construction, 40-foot clear height, as well as a smart temperature control system. Fullmer Construction has been selected as the general contractor for the project.
