Bestop PRP LLC, a company that manufactures premier suspension seats for off-road vehicles, recently inked a five-year lease for 43.2k sf of industrial space in Temecula. The firm will use the space as it headquarters. They plan to move in during April 2019, once a significant amount of tenant improvements are complete.
Bestop is more than quadrupling in size from its current 10k sf location within the Temecula Valley. This larger facility will be used by the company to expand its operations in order to keep up with demand to produce more goods, while increasing efficiencies.
Built in 1987 and situated on 4.87 acres of land, the property is located at 43350-43352 Business Park Drive. With this lease, the 91.3k sf building is 100% occupied. The space features 28-foot ceiling height, a showroom, office buildout and skylights.
Bestop PRP’s sister company Bestop is based out of Denver and is a large supplier for Jeep ragtops. The Bestop organization is widely known throughout the U.S.
Cody Lerner and Stan Nowak with Avison Young represented the tenant in the deal. The landlord, Temecula BP LLC, was repped by Lee & Associates. According to Lerner, southwest Riverside County’s industrial market is very competitive, with an availability rate of less than 2%.
