Genera Corporation agreed to 10-year, $14.1 mil lease for a 210.9k sf industrial building in Fontana. The property is owned by Bolger Family Trust, a private investor.
The building is located at 13232 Valley Blvd, east of I-15 and just north of I-10, within Bolger Business Center. Genera, a privately held manufacturer and distributor of automotive OEM aftermarket parts and components, will use the facility as a distribution center.
Jon Reno, SIOR, CCIM and Trevor Gale with Kidder Mathews, together with Conrad Madsen III, SIOR of Paladin, represented Genera Corporation in the transaction. The landlord was represented by Frank Schulz, SIOR, and David Prior, SIOR, of The Klabin Company, along with Chuck Belden, SIOR, of Cushman & Wakefield.
"Competition for comparable space in the Inland Empire West market, where the property is located, remains fierce,” said Reno. “Genera Corporation has six distribution centers across the United States. They had outgrown their current location and required a larger facility for the Southwest region,” he added.
