Construction is underway on Big Yards Industrial Park at Lake Elsinore, a 162.9k sf industrial park in Lake Elsinore. The project marks the first new ground-up industrial development in the Temecula Valley in eight years.
Big Yards Industrial Park encompasses eight free-standing buildings available for sale or lease, ranging in size from 9.8k sf to 57.4k sf. Located at 29370 - 29415 Hunco Way, the buildings are expected to be completed by summer 2016. The park’s buildings feature large oversized yards, two story offices, truck-well and ground-level loading doors with 24’ to 28’ minimum clear heights.
The project is a development of Temecula-based Southern California Investors (SCI). SCI is a real estate development and investment company that has built more than a dozen commercial and industrial developments in southwest Riverside County.
NGKF’s Randy Lockhart and Jeff Kalmikov have the marketing assignment for the development. According to NGKF, there has been a great deal of interest in the sites, with three buildings currently in escrow to owner/users and investors.
In its Inland Empire 4Q2015 Industrial Market Report, NGKF reported that the fourth quarter of 2015 marked the 25th straight quarter of net occupancy gains for the Inland Empire industrial market, as more than 3 msf was absorbed.
