In Oxnard, there have been two recent leases with national retailers at The Marketplace shopping center. The transactions, which total about 50k sf, were with Restoration Hardware Outlet and Design within Reach Outlet
Restoration Hardware moved into a former Office Depot space and Design within Reach is occupying a previous Sport Chalet location at The Marketplace shopping center, which is centrally located within the trade area with good visibility and access off the 101 Fwy. The grand opening of the Design within Reach store is scheduled for Aug. 11.
The center, anchored by Fry’s Electronics and Marshalls, is adjacent to Costco. The new store spaces are at 1931 and 1885 Ventura Blvd.
CBRE’s Larry Tanji represented the property owner in the deals. According to CBRE, the center has one remaining15k sf, junior anchor position remaining, next to Design within Reach, and a unit of 2.4k sf, directly adjacent to Marshalls. A 5k sf unit is also currently available.
