Joseph Didone Named Vice President at Bernards

Joseph Didone has been named to the position of vice president at Bernards, the LA-based commercial builder. In his role, Didone will provide executive-level oversight for complex Bernards projects.

Didone is a 27-year veteran of the construction industry. During his career, he has managed a number of high-profile construction projects. These include the renovation of the Hollywood Bowl Museum, the construction of the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels for the Los Angeles Archdiocese, and the Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cell Research at the University of Southern California (USC).

Didone’s track record also includes executive and senior project management for the $550 mil Santa Monica UCLA Medical Center & Orthopedic Hospital, the $50 mil Edie and Lew Wasserman Building for the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), the $800 mil Universal Studios Sound Wall Measures Phases I and II, the $105 mil expansion of Parking Lot M at NBC Universal, the $72 mil Broad Center for Regenerative Medicine & Stem Cell Research and Vivarium, the $48 mil Social Sciences Interdisciplinary Building fort USC, the $30 mil Student Apartment Buildings 4,5 & 6 at Loyola Marymount University in Westchester, CA, and the $15 mil Wilshire Margot Luxury Apartments in Los Angeles.

Didone earned his B.S. in Construction Management and MS in Civil Engineering at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and participated in the Executive Program of the Graduate School of Management at the Anderson School, UCLA.
