Dollar Tree Stores has inked a 10-year lease for a 9.5k sf store space at Merced Marketplace in Merced, a central CA city roughly midway between Modesto and Fresno off Hwy 99. The lease value was not given out.
For Dollar Tree, a Fortune 200 company with stores nationwide, this deal, at 1778 W. Olive Ave, marks the company's third location in Merced. The discount variety retail venue is slated to open August 2020.
Dollar Tree is a discount retailer which now operates 15,370 stores across 48 states and five Canadian provinces. Open seven days a week, the discount retail stores offer an assortment of merchandise priced at $1 or less.
Rick Amerine of Cushman & Wakefield Pacific Commercial Realty Advisors represented Decron in the transaction. Tim Bettencourt of CoSol Commercial Real Estate represented Dollar Tree.Chris Rizza of Crosbie Gliner Schiffman Southard & Swanson LLP (CGS3) represented the property owner, Decron Properties Inc, in the lease.
"Having two other successful locations in Merced, Dollar Tree is a proven commodity in the market and should be a tremendous asset to the Marketplace and an excellent addition to the merchandising mix," said Decron's commercial division director, Tim Kushner.
