Chuze Fitness has inked a deal for new 44.8k sf, health club location within a neighborhood shopping center at the bustling intersection of Beach Blvd and Lincoln Ave in southwest Anaheim. Located at 135 Beach Blvd, the expanding health club is expected to open early next year and will serve as the center’s co-anchor along with Walmart Neighborhood Market.
Chad Iafrate, CCIM, with Cushman & Wakefield represented Chuze Fitness in the transaction. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
“Chuze Fitness continues to actively expand in Southern California and across the Western region,” noted Iafrate. “This new Anaheim location is positioned at a major intersection and provides excellent access to the surrounding densely populated residential communities.”
Chuze Fitness currently operates 24 clubs across California, Arizona and Colorado—Denver has been a prime growth area recently—with more locations in the West planned. The chain, started in Carlsbad in 2008, offers a full range of workout and training equipment as well several types of studio fitness classes.
