There’s been significant leasing activity at Renaissance Marketplace, a 450k sf retail and entertainment center located along the 210 Fwy in the Inland Empire city of Rialto. The project, currently under construction by Lewis Retail Centers, is situated on 57 acres at the corner of N. Ayala Dr and W. Rialto Pkwy.
Said to be the largest retail center development in the Inland Empire in a decade, Renaissance Marketplace will showcase a new state-of-the-art, 14-screen Cinemark theater as well as Burlington, Ross, 24 Hour Fitness and other retailers. Cinemark will be opening their first NextGen cinema design in California, which includes luxury lounger recliners, innovative self-serve concession stands, enhanced sound systems, and extended dining and cocktail menu.
To-date, signed leases at the project have totaled roughly 200k sf of space. The Starbucks and 7-Eleven stores are expected to open by the end of the year, with the Cinemark and the balance of the center scheduled to open in April of 2018. CBRE’s Richard Rizika is heading up the marketing for the ownership.
The immediate trade area encompasses a population of more than 200,000 with an average household income of $74,500. In addition, there are more than 800 new residential units in the trade area.
