Pacific/Lewis Properties has signed seven new leases totaling 19.6k sf at The Marketplace on Main shopping center in Hesperia. The recently opened Wal-Mart-anchored center is located at 13401 Main St, at the southeast corner of Main and Escondido Ave.
The latest signings include:
Petco 10k sf
The Habit Burger Grill 2.5k sf -- first High Desert location
Pieology Pizzeria 2k sf
Yogurtland 1.2k sf
Metro PCS 1.4k sf
Great Clips 1.2k sf
Nail Salon 1.3k sf
The new retailers will be situated within two new ground-up retail buildings totaling 24k sf that just broke ground in April at the center. The seven retailers account for 80% of the yet-to-be constructed new space, and all are expected to open prior to the 2015 holiday season. There are only three shop spaces remaining in the new buildings, ranging in size from 1.5k sf 1.6k sf.
The Marketplace at Main has outstanding visibility and presence on Hesperias main retail corridor with an average daily traffic count of 42,000. The center is less than a mile from the heavily traveled 1-15 freeway and also enjoys strong demographics with over 116,000 people residing in a five-mile radius with an average income in excess of $68k, according to the property developer.
