In a recent retail lease comp from the Conejo Valley, Fitness 19 inked a 10-year deal for 19.7k sf of space at Camarillo Plaza, a 74.1k sf shopping center in Camarillo. The deal value was not given out.
Located on the northeast corner of Daily Dr and Brently Ave, Fitness 19 will occupy more than 25 percent of Camarillo Plaza. Fitness 19 is an affordable, family-friendly facility that offers state-of-the-art cardio, strength, and free weight equipment. They are located in 23 states with 59 gym locations in California.
Camarillo Plaza is highly visible with convenient access to major freeways. Other tenants at the center include Urbane Café, the Habit Burger Grill, Baja Fresh, Presto Pasta, Hobby People, Revolution Surf Shop, and Brendan’s Restaurant.
CBRE First Vice President Larry Tanji, Senior Associate Scott Siegel, and Sales Assistant Lisa Engel represented the landlord, DP Grand Camarillo Center LLC, in the deal. The tenant was repped by Rainier Commercial, based out of Washington.
“This is a well-positioned location for a fitness user, offering tremendous freeway identity,” says Siegel. “Fitness 19 acted quickly on the opportunity and will become the anchor tenant in this unique shopping center.”
