Los Angeles-based Tripalink, a real estate development and property management company founded in 2016, has been awarded four new multifamily property management assignments totaling 471 units in the L.A. area. These include three assets owned by Jamison Properties LP: The Harper (131 units), The Archer (224 units) and The Hana (98 units). The fourth property is Sinanian Development Inc’s The Malcolm (18 units).
The four apartment complexes are located in Koreatown, Sawtelle and Hollywood. All of the properties include high-end amenities such as a pool, entertainment areas, private study rooms, and rooftops with views of the LA skyline.
These latest assignments, plus new co-living property management assignments the company was recently awarded in Seattle and Philadelphia, give Tripalink a total of 471 traditional res units and 349 new bedspaces managed just in the first quarter of 2021. By the end of this year, Tripalink foresees an increase of over 5,000 beds nationally.
Tripalink has specialized in managing co-living properties, a less expensive residential rental model favored more by a younger population, but has recently expanded into the traditional apartment marketspace as well.
According to Donghao Li, Tripalink CEO, “We started operating traditional apartments for two reasons. First, traditional apartments are still in demand for some of our targeted tenants. Second, mixing traditional and co-living units in an apartment building is becoming a trend.”
Tripalink has grown rapidly since their founding and is expanding quickly all over the country.
The company currently manages 609 traditional units and 3,294 coliving bedspaces in Los Angeles, Irvine, Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Seattle, Austin and Tucson. In Los Angeles, they’ve expanded into West LA, South LA, and most recently Koreatown and Sawtelle.
