Marinita Development Company has acquired a vacant, 95,679 sq. ft. Kmart within the Sun Lakes Village Shopping Center in the Banning/Beaumont trade area. The transaction closed escrow in December of 2015.
The property is located in the southeast quadrant of Interstate 10 and Highland Springs Ave, which is the divider between the two cities. It is situated roughly halfway between Palm Springs and Riverside.
Prior to the close of escrow, Marinita preleased the entire building, having demised space for Hobby Lobby, Marshalls, Party City and Big 5 Sporting Goods according to Scott Fawcett, President of Marinita. The company has offices in Newport Beach and Las Vegas.
