Trion Properties acquired two adjacent multifamily communities totaling 95 units in Tualatin, OR, a southwestern suburb of the Portland metropolitan area. Trion will operate the two properties, previously called Casa De Robles and Cypress Gardens, as one community, Fox Meadows.
Built in 1968, Fox Meadows is located at 19605 SW Boones Ferry Rd. The property features townhouse-style units in a variety of floorplans ranging from 562 sf to 1k sf, with patios and decks available on some units. Recent interior upgrades on the property’s units include grey vinyl plank flooring, stainless-steel appliances, quartz countertops, undermount sinks, new custom cabinetry, Bluetooth locks, and upgraded bathroom vanities. Common amenities include a swimming pool, laundry facilities, and ample parking and storage.
The complex is located less than a mile from Downtown Tualatin, Tualatin WES Metro Station, Tualatin Community Park, and Nyberg Rivers Shopping Center, which offers over 300k sf of retail and dining. The property is flanked by two medical facilities: Kaiser Permanente Tualatin Medical Offices to the west and Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center to the east, the latter of which provides state-of-the-art medicine, expertise, technology, and the advanced care often found in larger, urban medical centers.
The new acquisition brings the firm’s total current holdings in the Portland Metro area to 699 units. In addition to Fox Meadows, Trion currently owns and manages eight properties in the surrounding submarkets of Beaverton and Tigard. The purchase also affords Trion the opportunity to leverage economies of scale among these nine assets in its Portland-area portfolio.
