Argonaut Investments Acquires 148k sf OR Regional Retail Center

6/06/18

In a recent OR retail buy, Argonaut Investments purchased WinCo Plaza, a 147.9k sf regional shopping center in Medford, the state’s fourth largest metropolitan area. The property, located at 259 E. Barnett Rd, was sold by a private family investment entity. The price was not given out.

WinCo Plaza, located at the Northwest quadrant of Barnett Rd and the I-5 Fwy, is the region’s dominant grocery-anchored shopping center. With high visibility, including monument signage along Barnett Rd, and easy accessibility via the freeway, the center draws residents from the city of Medford as well as surrounding communities.

In addition to anchor WinCo Foods, which occupies 94.5k sf, other plaza tenants include Dollar Tree, McDonald’s, Payless ShoeSource and Valley Immediate Care.

Savills Studley’s Maurice Nieman represented the seller and also secured the Larkspur, CA-based buyer in the transaction.
