For those of you who like to keep up on retail leasing activity in the Pacific Northwest, we’ve got a few recent deals from Oregon and Washington to share with you in this report. All of these transactions were brokered, at least in part, by Melissa Darm and her colleagues out of the Portland office of CB Richard Ellis.
We’ll start in Portland, where Brown Group Retail took 6k sf of space for a shoe store at Ross Center, a community center located at 11211 SE 82nd Ave. The tenant was represented by Lisa Fisher and Ann Hecht of Cushman & Wakefield. The property owner, EMC4 LLC, was repped by CBRE’s Bob Dunn.
Also in Portland, FedEx Kinko’s OFC and Print Services leased 3.1k sf of street retail space at 437 NW 23rd Ave. They were repped by Melissa Darm and Jim Parsons of CBRE. Mert Meeker of MBM Properties handled negotiations for Flanders Street Building, the owner.
In Beaverton, OR, 7-Eleven agreed to a lease for 3k sf of inline strip center space at Millikan Pointe, located 14705 SW Millikan Way. CB’s Melissa Darm gets credit in this transaction as well, having represented the tenant. The property is owned by Baseline Station LLC, which was repped by New & Neville Real Estate Services.
We’ll also mention a couple of deals from Vancouver, WA. In the larger of the two, Lane Bryant inked a lease for a 5k sf store at Hazel Dell Towne Center, located at NE 88th St and Hazel Dell Ave. The Northbrook, IL-based retailer was represented by Ron Dawhaniuk of Staubach Retail Services. CBRE’s Darm, along with colleague Marc Strabic, brokered the deal for the landlord, Pine Tree – Sau Hazel Dell LLC.
And in the other Vancouver transaction, Svitoch Inc, a specialty food store, took 2k sf of space at Fisher’s Landing Plaza, located at 16415 SE 15th St. The tenant took care of its own negotiations, while the property owner, Vancouver Retail Lot C Partnership, was represented by Melissa Darm and Jim Parsons of CB Richard Ellis.
