Quattro Development spent $4.49 mil for two properties totalling more than 16k sf ($280/sf) in the Sacramento suburb of Folsom. Higher Ground Education, a company dedicated to spreading high quality Montessori education, will occupy the buildings for its Guidepost Montessori campuses.
The properties include a 9.6k sf building located at 777 Levy Rd and a 6.7k sf building located at 791 Levi Rd. Higher Ground Education will make improvements to the properties with the schools scheduled to open in January 2020.
Higher Ground, which operates multiple brands including Guidepost Montessori, Polis World School and Academy of Thought and Industry (“ATI”), has opened 28 schools since 2016 and will have more than 40 open by the end of 2019 with schools like Folsom.
“Higher Ground's mission is to modernize and mainstream the international Montessori movement, and thereby enable children across the world to realize their human potential as knowledge-guided, value-oriented, efficacious beings, so that they experience the joyous process of growing into successful adults," said Guy Barnett, Vice President and Chief Development Officer, Higher Ground Education. "We are looking for additional locations throughout the United States and more in the Sacramento region."
Nick Carey and Clyde Rawlings of JLL represented Quattro Development and Higher Ground Education in the transactions.
This is the 10th property that Quattro has acquired on behalf of Higher Ground Education. Quattro’s other properties are located in California, Texas, New Jersey, Georgia, Illinois, and Florida. Quattro is a national build-to-suit developer based in Oak Brook, Illinois that has developed properties in 23 states.
