Shartsis Friese LLP, an award-winning multi-disciplinary San Francisco-based law firm that was established in 1975, has inked a lease for 26k sf 425 Market Street in San Francisco’s South Financial District. Shartsis Friese LLP is relocating its headquarters from nearby One Maritime Plaza, where it has been headquartered for more than 30 years.
One of the largest Class A office buildings in the City’s Financial District, 425 Market Street totals just under 1 msf and is conveniently located at the corner of Fremont and Market streets, adjacent to the Embarcadero Bart Station. The building is LEED platinum-certified.
425 Market Street’s tenant roster includes prestigious firms such as Morrison & Foster, Hanson Bridgett, Aon, IBM, and Kendo, as well as the popular restaurant Barcha, which has been serving upscale Mediterranean fare at the building since 2015.
Cushman and Wakefield’s Zach Siegel and Sam Wasserstein represented the landlord in the transaction. JLL repped the tenant. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. 425 Market is currently 100% leased but has several floors coming available later in 2023 and 2024.
