Century/ Urban purchased a seven-story, 16k sf office building in San Francisco’s North Financial District. The building, located at 401 Washington St, at the corner with Battery St, was fully occupied at the time of sale.
The building, constructed in 1983, was sold by PMI Properties. From what we understand, the deal had a price tag near $15 mil, which would give the property a cost of nearly $1,000/sf.
Kyle Kovac, Michael Taquino, Daniel Cressman and Mandy Lee with NKF Capital Markets repped the seller in the transaction. Century/Urban is a real estate advisory entity that acquired the asset on behalf of an unnamed private client. Chris Moritz, also with NKF, arranged the acquisition financing, which was funded through Canada’s Sun Life Assurance Company.
