Party City signed a long-term deal for a junior anchor space at a 25k sf, freestanding building within the Fremont Hub shopping center in Silicon Valley. The center is located at Argonaut Way and Mowry Ave in the city’s Central District.
Fremont Hub is a midsize open-air mall that features courtyards and a varied range of local and chain tenants, including Michaels, Trader Joe's, Ross Dress for Less and Bed Bath and Beyond. Notably, the center also recently added popular Japanese discount retailer, Daiso.
Fremont Hub is owned by Kimco Realty, a real estate investment trust (REIT) that is North America’s largest publicly traded owner and operator of open-air shopping centers. Party City is anticipated to open at this location toward the end of the year. James Chung and Mike Costa with Cushman & Wakefield’s Retail Services group in San Jose represented Party City in the transaction.
