A 17.2k sf industrial property in a desirable SOMA location in San Francisco sold for $10 mil ($581/sf). The buyer plans to add three floors of creative office space above the existing structure, along with a complete remodel of the first and second floors.
The property is located at 828 Brannan St, between the headquarters for Pinterest and Airbnb. It is also
across the street from a planned 432-unit, mixed-use apartment complex being developed by Equity Residential. That development will also have 37k sf of landscaped open space and 3k sf of retail/restaurant space.
Transwestern Senior Vice President and Director of Investment Services Michael Cisternino and Senior Vice President Steven Orchard represented the seller, 828 Brannan Street LLC, in the transaction.
