Joe Moriarty: Joe Moriarty, who specializes in investments and corporate advisory work, joined the Investment Sales team of Bob Gilley, Steve Hermann and Erik Doyle at CB Richard Ellis, which completed $3 bil in sales transactions during 2007. Some of their most significant assignments included: Bay Center Offices, Emeryville; Centennial Towers, South San Francisco; and 140 New Montgomery, San Francisco.
Moriarty brings with him 20 years of experience in various aspects of commercial real estate, including finance, asset management and sales. Previous to joining CBRE, Moriarty completed over $3 bil in transactions as of the end of 2007. This included over 6 msf leased, over 18 msf sold and 65 acres sold. The team of Gilley, Hermann and Doyle view Joe's addition as a strategic partnership reinforcing their strength in Northern California as well as allowing them the opportunity to increase business development.
Moriarty has consistently ranked among the top brokers in the Silicon Valley. While at his previous firm, Commercial Property Services (CPS) he received Top Five awards for 2004 and 2005 as well as the Presidents Club from 2002-2007. In 2004 he was listed in a "40 under 40" people to watch article by the San Jose Business Journal and in 1998 he received two rookie of the year awards from the Association of Silicon Valley Brokers and BT Commercial. He has consistently been a top 25 Commercial Broker as ranked by the San Jose Business Journal since 1998.
Andy Zighelboim/Kevin Van Voorhis/Scott Kinsey/Steve Wisniewski/Wendy Kaszer: Andy Zighelboim has been named to lead Colliers International’s Investment Services Group, where he’ll be joined by Kevin Van Voorhis, Scott Kinsey, Steve Wisniewski, and Wendy Kaszer. Zighelboim will relocate from the company’s Walnut Creek office to San Jose, which will expand the company’s overall staff of investment sales professionals in San Jose to 10. Van Voorhis, Kinsey, and Wisniewski will manage operations and transactions in the East Bay from Colliers' Walnut Creek office. The team will represent private and institutional clients in the sale of office, R&D, industrial and retail buildings.
Jordan Young: Jordan Young has been named Senior Property Claims Consultant for the San Francisco region at Hilb Rogal & Hobbs. Young has more than 26 years of experience with claims and customer service. Prior to joining HRH, he worked for Crawford Technical Services where he was as an independent adjuster, managing complex property claims for Fortune 500 companies. Young has also held key positions handling losses in marine, jewelers block, fine arts, construction defect and business income.
Young is a licensed general adjuster in the state of Washington and has been a member of the HRH CAT Team, a group of claims professionals who are on call to assist clients in the event of a catastrophe, since November of 2007. As a member of this elite group, Jordan will go to the area where disaster hits and help the insured clients through the claims process by coordinating emergency efforts, assisting with the appointment of the appropriate vendors and analyzing coverage and what can be expected from the policy.
David Wright: David Wright has joined CB Richard Ellis, out of the company’s San Francisco Peninsula office. Wright will be working with Managing Director Bob McSweeney, First Vice President John Held, and Associates Jose Bustamante, Alex Wilson, and Connor Deal. Wright's focus will be on office and R&D sales and leasing within the San Francisco Peninsula.
Wright brings ten years of commercial real estate sales and development experience to CB Richard Ellis. Throughout his career he has brokered nearly 200 sales and lease transactions and participated in the development of seven office buildings.
