Property management services for Old Oakland, a 238k sf, mixed-use portfolio in Oakland was just awarded to Transwestern Commercial Services. The portfolio, consisting of 10 buildings spanning Eighth to 10th Streets between Broadway and Washington, is owned by 11 West Partners.
Old Oakland has been characterized as a unique gem of late 19th Century architecture and rejuvenated city culture. The buildings are home to local businesses including Beast Mode Apparel, Blue Bottle Coffee and ThredUp, along with nonprofit tenants Casey Family Programs and Promise Network Inc.
Oakland native Sarah Fox will lead Transwestern’s project management team.Fox is an industry veteran of 10 years. She previously managed a 240k sf portfolio of historic commercial and residential properties for the Bently Family in San Francisco and Nevada, and she is the vice chair of BOMA San Francisco’s Historic Buildings Committee. She is joined by Nancy Le, who brings seven years of experience with commercial real estate portfolios throughout the Bay Area.
