Okta Inc has agreed to a 10-year lease for 207k sf of office space in San Francisco’s SoMa District. The transaction is at 100 First Street, a 27-story, 467k sf building owned by Kilroy Realty Corp. The deal value was not disclosed.
Okta, a secure identity management firm that just went public earlier this year, is expanding its footprint and needed a larger HQ location. They expect to start taking occupancy of this space in the second quarter of 2018.
Built in 1988, 100 First Street is a LEED Gold and Energy Star-certified property that was designed by Skidmore, Owings and Merrill and built in 1988. The building is 95% leased.
