In a recent NoCal retail investment buy, Pacific Castle paid $34 mil for Redwood Gateway, a 158.5k sf ($214/sf), institutional-quality retail center in the affluent Sonoma County community of Petaluma. The property is located at 1351-1371 N. McDowell Blvd, just west of Hwy 101 off Old Redwood Highway.
National retailers Kohl’s, Michael’s, and Tuesday Morning anchor Redwood Gateway, providing a consistent consumer draw. Additional tenants include Bank of Marin, Cellular World (multi-location AT&T licensed retailer), and Bianchini’s Deli.
REZA Investment Group represented the buyer and the seller, Redwood Gateway LLC, in the transaction. The seller was completing a reverse 1031 exchange.
