Donahue Schriber Picks Up 195k sf Retail Center in the East Bay

1/08/16

Donahue Schriber Realty Group acquired Alamo Plaza, a 195.1k sf shopping center in Alamo, CA. The Safeway-anchored center was purchased from Invesco Advisors Inc. The price was not disclosed.

Alamo PLaza is located at the northwest corner of Stone Valley Rd and Danville Blvd, about 20 miles east of Oakland in northern California. Other tenants at the center include Rite-Aid, 24 Hour Fitness, Richards Arts and Crafts, Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Panera Bread, and more.

With access to and from Interstate 680 less than a quarter of a mile away, Alamo Plaza not only serves the residents of Alamo, but also commuters from Danville, Walnut Creek, and other communities in the San Ramon Valley.

Alamo Plaza was Donahue Schriber’s fifth acquisition of 2015. Other recent purchases include: Gilman District in Berkeley, CA; Village Oaks Shopping Center in San Jose, CA; Lakeland Town Center in Auburn, WA; and Interbay Urban Center in Seattle, WA.
