Work Gets Underway on Luxury Santa Monica Apartment Development


In major development news out of Santa Monica, construction has begun on Lincoln Collection, a $150 mil mixed-use multifamily project in the city’s downtown. The project is a development of Century West Partners and Milender White.

Lincoln Collection is an upscale residential rental project that promises heightened luxury and sophisticated features, finishes and amenities. The four-story community will feature 282 units in a mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom floorplans within two contiguous buildings.There will also be 25k sf of street-level retail amenities.

“Lincoln Collection will bring an Urban Village to the very tight Santa Monica rental market, offering renters some of the most remarkable amenities and modern luxury finishes,” said Steven Fifield, Principal and Co-founder of Century West Partners.

Located at 1601 and 1613 Lincoln Blvd, between Colorado Ave and Olympic Blvd, Lincoln Collection will feature resort-like amenities, including a large pool and sun decks, a screening room, and a lounge and entertainment space. The community will also include a robust fitness center, a business center, and expansive outdoor courtyards.

Unit amenities at Lincoln Collection will include luxe plank flooring, quartz countertops, Euro-style cabinets, stainless steel appliance packages, and luxury bathrooms. Modern tech-friendly features will include in-wall USB outlets.

Residents of Lincoln Collection will enjoy instant access to renowned beaches, the iconic Santa Monica Pier, bustling Third Street Promenade, numerous surrounding parks, varied upscale dining and nightlife options, as well as unique boutiques and national retailers. The community boasts a Walk Score of 93, designating the community an official “Walker’s Paradise.” The project also provides exceptionally easy access to public transit including the Big Blue Bus, Santa Monica’s popular local rapid transit service. Residents may also catch the Metro Blue Line at 4th Street and Colorado Ave.

Additional communities currently under development by Century West Partners include two of the largest, active construction projects in Los Angeles. NEXT on Lex, a 494-unit mixed-use community with 8.1k sf of street-level retail is currently under construction in the heart of Glendale. NEXT on Sixth, a 398-unit community in burgeoning Koreatown, will be anchored on the ground level by one of Los Angeles’ few Target urban-concept retail stores. The 22k sf store will feature groceries and hard and soft goods. The community will include also include an unparalleled suite of amenities as well as large-scale custom art commissions.
