Third Security LLC is readying to start work on Moses Lake Commerce center, a brand new 42-acre industrial development adjacent to Grant County International Airport in Moses Lake, WA. Initial work on the project will be construction of a 108k sf, temperature-controlled, food-grade processing facility including warehouse and offices situated on 10 acres. The facility is expected to initially employ approximately 60 workers in various roles.
Moses Lake Commerce Center is the first industrial park in Grant County to offer companies seeking production, warehouse, processing, or other industrial facilities with a lease or purchase option, built to suit. It is planned to contain over 800k sf of industrial space at build-out.
Strategically located at the northeast corner of the intersection of Randolph Road NE and Road 7 NE, Moses Lake Commerce Center offers an additional 32 acres of industrial land that could support up to 692k sf in five unique Class A buildings. Each building site can be adapted to a buyer or tenant’s specific needs. Additionally, the property is situated in a qualified opportunity zone census tract, which may provide federal income tax benefits to purchasers or tenants1.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Greg Millerd and Nic Alfieri, in collaboration with Keller-Williams’ Russ Roberts, are marketing the project for Third Security, an investment management firm based in Radford, VA.
Third Security has engaged Hansen-Rice Inc, an integrated design-build general contractor based in Nampa, ID with 39 years of experience in providing solutions that benefit its clients, to plan, design and construct the facility in Moses Lake Commerce Center. Hansen-Rice is participating as an investor and master planner for the Moses Lake Commerce Center.
