G12, a 347-unit res project located at 1200 S. Grand Ave in downtown Los Angeles’ South Park district, has just been completed. The seven-story, 456k sf development also includes 19k sf of ground-floor retail space.
The project is a development of The Wolff Company. It was designed by TCA Architects and built by Bernards. G12 is adjacent to OLiVE DTLA, a “sister” project recently completed by Bernards and TCA for The Wolff Company.
Apartments at G12 will range from studios and lofts to one- and two-bedroom units, built over two levels of subterranean parking. Interior finishes are superior in quality, superior in quality, on trend, and designed to set G12 apart. Across the alley to the east is OLiVE DTLA, a seven-story, mixed-use complex with 293 apartment units, 7k sf of amenity space for residents, and approximately 17.3k sf of ground floor retail.
LA’s vibrant South Park has become a magnet for young, millennial professionals. The evolving entertainment and tourist area includes attractions such as the LA Convention Center, Seventh Street Restaurant Row, the Grammy Museum, the vibrant L.A. Live entertainment complex, and Staples Center, home to the Los Angeles Lakers, Kings and Clippers¬.
Bernards is also currently constructing Park Fifth, a seven-story project by MacFarlane Partners, which includes 313 apartments and 7k sf of retail. Bernards other recent projects include One Santa Fe in Downtown LA, Wilshire LA Brea in LA’s Miracle Mile area, The Camden in Hollywood, and Camden Glendale in Glendale.
