National Stores Inc has relocated its regional distribution operations from San Diego to the Inland Empire. The company recently signed a 10-year lease for a new, 579.7k sf distribution building in Perris in a deal worth $26 mil, or $0.37/sf/mo.
The LEED-certified, state-of-the-art building, located at 3900 Indian Ave, east of I-215, was developed by Sares*Regis Group. It features 109 dock-high doors and secured parking for 138 trailers. National Stores is having 12.6k sf built out as office space.
Founded in downtown Los Angeles in 1962 by Joseph Fallas, National Stores operates 325 stores in 22 states and Puerto Rico as Fallas Paredes, Fallas Discount Stores, Fallas Kid Stores and Factory 2U. The merchandiser sells brand-name and private-label clothing along with shoes and home décor.
Sares*Regis Group was represented by Tom Taylor and Steve Bellitti at Colliers International’s office in Ontario, California. Tres Reid and Rich Rizika in the El Segundo office of CBRE repped National Stores.
