In a notable sale from about a month or so ago in Chula Vista, Centre Medical Plaza, a 74.9k sf medical office park, sold for $24.6 mil ($328/sf). Built in two phases in 1995 and 2001 on 3.74 acres, the property is located at 855-865 3rd Ave, roughly midway between I-5 and I-805.
Centre Medical Plaza is comprised of one four-story medical office building, three single-story medical office buildings and a four-story, 262-stall concrete parking facility. The buildings feature high-end finishes and upscale lobbies.
The center has 15 medical tenants in 24 separate suites. The tenants include local, regional and national providers of internal medicine services, dental and ophthalmology services, diabetes and obesity treatments, clinical medical research and more. These include Profile Institute for Clinical Research, Children's Primary CareMedical and the State of California.
