Maximus Federal Services has inked a renewal lease for its 149.2k sf space in Phoenix. The five-and-a-half-year extension is for the entire three-story, Desert Canyon building, located at 2411 West Peoria Ave.
2411 West Peoria Avenue was built in 2001 and sits on 9.32 acres in Phoenix’s Metrocenter submarket. Desert Canyon has parking for 866 vehicles in both covered and surface lots.
The building offers redundant power throughout all three floors and is a mission-critical facilities used by Maximus, a leading provider of software solutions for the administration of government, health and human services programs.
Desert Canyon is surrounded by retail and lifestyle amenities including the 63-acre Rose Mofford sports complex. It offers easy access to Interstate 17 and is less than 30 minutes’ drive from Sky Harbor International Airport.
Ashley Brooks Jr. and Sean Spellman of CBRE represented Drawbridge in the lease negotiations. Maximus was repped by Steven Jaray and Todd Noel of Colliers.
This is Drawbridge’s fourth lease execution of more than 100k sf this year and brings 2022 leasing to more than 1 msf throughout the firm’s nationwide portfolio. Earlier this month, Drawbridge completed the purchase of a building in Sunnyvale, Calif., which is fully leased and occupied by ride-sharing giant Uber. In the first quarter, Drawbridge completed a $1.7 bil portfolio recapitalization with Global Atlantic, a subsidiary of KKR.
