Majestic Realty Co.’s and Sunroad Enterprises’ Landmark at Otay, a four-building industrial center totaling 845.8k sf in Otay Mesa, has reached the concrete wall panel tilt-up and roof construction milestone for Phase 1 of the speculative project. Construction commenced in January 2021 and is slated for completion in September 2021.
Phase 1 of the project includes two buildings totaling 369.8k sf while Phase 2 will add two additional buildings totaling 476k sf. Phase 1 buildings include 32’ clear height, LED lighting, 403 parking stalls, ample trailer parking, ESFR fire sprinkler systems and build-to-suit office space. Phase 2 construction is slated for completion in summer 2022.
Colliers’ Mark Lewkowitz, Chris Holder and Will Holder are handling leasing efforts for Landmark at Otay, with opportunities now available.
The partnership of Majestic Realty Co and Sunroad Enterprises has experienced success with its current Otay Mesa industrial developments due to the continued low inventory throughout the market, significant tenant demand and the quality of the new construction amenities. In April 2021, Sunroad Majestic Center reached full occupancy after signing four separate lease transactions prior to the completion of construction.
