Trio of Recent AZ Industrial Sales Account for 60k sf of Space

We’ve got three recent industrial purchases, totaling 60k sf, in the greater Phoenix area to report. The separate deals had different buyers and sellers.

In one of the deals, Crockett’s Honey, a family-owned raw honey manufacturer, purchased an 18k sf facility in Tempe. The building sits on 1.15 acres at 1060 W. Alameda Dr.

Trevor McKendry and Chris Rogers with DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services represented Crockett’s, which operates 6,500 beehives along the Colorado River in Parker, AZ.

In the second transaction, a CA-based private investor paid $2 mil for a three-building, 25.8k sf business park located at 3615-3635 S. 16th Street in Phoenix. The buildings feature a total of five grade-level doors, a fenced lot, and convenient access to multiple modes of transportation including the Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport and the UP-PHOENIX-AZ railroad.

DAUM’s Rogers and Trevor McKendry repped the buyer in this deal. Carl Johnson, also with DAUM, repped the seller.

And in the third deal, an unnamed investor paid $2.225 mil for a 16.1k sf manufacturing building located at 2840 E. Mohawk Lane in Phoenix. The buyer plans to implement value-add exterior upgrades to the recently vacated property, including new paint, roof, and asphalt.

The property features a showroom, evaporative cooled warehouse, skylights, 12-foot by 14-foot overhead doors, a fire sprinkler system, and concrete pads for loading. The building is also situated on 1.15 acres of industrial-zoned land, providing future development opportunities down the line.

Rogers and McKendry were involved in brokering this deal, and are the exclusive listing agents for the property, which has both office and warehouse space.
